Read More	Hawk Eye, The (Burlington, IA) - Thursday, February 6, 2003 Paul McArtor Paul Duane McArtor , 74, of Washington, formerly of the Olds community, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at his home. Born June 13, 1928, in Wellman, he was the son of Elmer and Maude Howard McArtor . On July 25, 1953, he married Miriam Redlinger in Harper. She died in 1982. On July 7, 1990, he married Marjorie Yoder Shaver in Iowa City. Mr. McArtor was a lifetime farmer in the Olds community. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He lived in Washington since 1993. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Washington. He was a member of the Olds American Legion and Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife; four sons; one daughter; three stepdaughters; two stepsons; 16 grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. {Names omitted for privacy} Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son and three brothers. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A Knights of Columbus rosary service will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant. The funeral for Mr. McArtor will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Presbyterian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Ron McMenamin officiating. Burial with military rites will be at 2 p.m. in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. Memorials have been established for United Presbyterian Church, Olds American Legion and Hospice of Washington County.
