Mr. Devol was a member of the U.C.T. of the Iowa State Traveling men's assication, of the Royal Arcinum, and the Independent Order of Foresters. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dollie DeVol, his brothers A.O. DeVol of Glendale, Cal., George B. DeVol of near Ottumwa, and a sister Julia Wolff of Seattle, Wash. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the DeVol home, Hickory Heights, 617 West Highland avenue, in charge of Rev. G. O. March, pastor of the First Christian church. The pallbearers will be Lawrence Starns, Ed Simmons, P. C. Letnhauser, C. C. Oreme, Morris Williams and A. L. Reynolds. Burial at Ottumwa cemetery.
