Description	:	COWARD: Mr. Dwight Milton Lee, 78, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 1st, 2012, in Honorage Nursing Home after a long illness. Mr. Lee was born in Timmonsville on November 17th, 1933. He was a son of the late Autie Lee and the late Lessie Matthews Lee and was the husband of Barbara L. Lee. Mr. Lee retired from Swift Meat Packing Company after twenty-five years of service. He then began working for the Clemson Extension Program as an Assistant Area Supervisor conducting inspections in the meat packing industry, retiring from them after working for over twenty years on the job.... Mr. Lee was born in Timmonsville on November 17th, 1933. He was a son of the late Autie Lee and the late Lessie Matthews Lee and was the husband of Barbara L. Lee. Mr. Lee retired from Swift Meat Packing Company after twenty-five years of service. He then began working for the Clemson Extension Program as an Assistant Area Supervisor conducting inspections in the meat packing industry, retiring from them after working for over twenty years on the job. Mr. Lee was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to raise dogs, chase foxes, and hunt deer. Mr. Lee was a Master Mason with the Robert Burns Lodge #337 A.F.M. in Coward where he earned a lifetime service award for over fifty years serving his lodge. Most of all, Mr. Lee was a dedicated family man. He was deeply devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Mr. Lee will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Lee's surviving family includes his wife of sixty years, Barbara J. Lee, of the home; his four children, Dean M. Lee (Karen), of Hartsville, Sylvia O'Cain (Bill), of Florence, Ronnie Lee (Angie), of Coward, and Karen L. Godwin (Larry), of Lake City; and his three grandchildren, Trudy Williams (Jeff), of Tyler, Texas, Lee Godwin, of Lake City, and Courtney Godwin, of Lake City. The family of Mr. Lee will have visiting hours from six until eight o'clock p.m., Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mr. Lee will be held at two o'clock p.m., Friday, February 3rd, 2012, in the Brockington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral services in Matthews Cemetery in Coward.
