Description	:	Dwight Vernon Clary, 82, Mtn. Lake Park, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. Born March 31, 1921, in Deer Park, he was a son of the late Frank and Frances (Behan) Clary. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Ron; three brothers; and three sisters. He retired after 38 years as a signal maintainer with the B&O Railroad. He was also manager of Success Floor Covering in Oakland. Lake Park, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. Born March 31, 1921, in Deer Park, he was a son of the late Frank and Frances (Behan) Clary. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Ron; three brothers; and three sisters. He retired after 38 years as a signal maintainer with the B&O Railroad. He was also manager of Success Floor Covering in Oakland. A World War II veteran, he was a member of the Proctor Kildow American Legion Post in Oakland. He was also a member of the Deer Park United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Deer Park Community Volunteer Fire Department and the Old Timers softball league. Surviving are his wife, Helen (Timmerman) Clary; two sons, Michael Clary, Oakland, and Curt Clary, Deep Creek Lake; three daughters, Janet Farley, Ohio, and Marjorie Gnegy and Darlene Clary, both of Oakland; one brother, Bill Clary, Oakland; one sister, MaryEtta DeWitt, McHenry; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland. A service was conducted in the Deer Park United Methodist Church on Monday, Jan. 12, with the Rev. Joe Robinette and the Rev. Gail Hixon officiating. Interment was in the Deer Park Cemetery. Military honors were accorded at graveside by local veterans organizations. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the United Methodist Church of Deer Park c/o the building fund.
