Description	:	Louise E. Johnson, 97, of Holdrege died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Holdrege (NE.) Memorial Homes. Louise was born June 22, 1915, three miles southeast of Funk in Phelps County, NE., the fifth of seven children born to John William and Matilda Louise (Nelson) Singleterry. Louise was baptized and confirmed in the Fridhem Lutheran Church in Funk, NE. and attended Rural School District #18 east of Funk, NE. On July 29, 1936 she was united in marriage to Hugo William Johnson of Holdrege and to this union one daughter was born, Janet. On December 2, 1986 she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo William Johnson. Louise was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Holdrege, NE. Besides: parents and husband, Hugo William Johnson, Louise was preceded in death by one grandson, Ronald Swanson; five brothers: Chester, Archie, Kenneth, Warren, Lee Singleterry; and sister, Irene Lavalleur. Louise leaves to mourn her passing: daughter, Janet Swanson and husband, Stanley of West Sacramento, California; grandchildren: Debra Swanson of Folsom, California and Jeffrey Swanson and his wife, Lisa of West Sacramento; great-grandchildren: Kirsten Swanson of Folsom, Tiffany and Ryon Swanson of West Sacramento and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE. Published in Kearney Hub on July 24, 201
