A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Bunyan W and Rose Duvall Justice. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, serving as deacon many years, as well as singing in the choir and other church activities. He attended school in Holly Springs community and Iotla High School. He was a poultry farmer and served on the Federal Land Bank loan committee for Macon County. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Bunyan W and Rose Duvall Justice. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, serving as deacon many years, as well as singing in the choir and other church activities. He attended school in Holly Springs community and Iotla High School. He was a poultry farmer and served on the Federal Land Bank loan committee for Macon County. He was also a logger, mechanic and carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Berry Justice, who died April 2001. An infant daughter Peggy Justice, two sisters, Bess Hegge, and Lovica Moses; and two brothers, Floyd Justice and A A 'Gus' Justice. He is survived by three sisters, Burdell Young of Franklin; Helen Ammons of Waynesville; and Virginia Partillo of Bryson City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov 1, at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Rev Lewis Smith officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Earlie Ashe, John Henry, Doug Young, Kenneth Young, Sam Patillo, Larry Ammons, and Joe Ballew. Memorials may be made to the Lukemia Society of America, 600 Third Ave, NY, NY 10010.
