Description	:	Funeral services are being held today, December 2, at 2 p.m., from Nazareth Lutheran Church of Kenmare for E.C. (Charlie) Larson, 75, longtime Kenmare resident who passed away Sunday at a Minot hospital. He had been in failing health for several months. Rev. Donald Burton will officiate at the service. (Charlie) Larson, 75, longtime Kenmare resident who passed away Sunday at a Minot hospital. He had been in failing health for several months. Rev. Donald Burton will officiate at the service. Bud Carlson will be vocalist and pallbearers will be Delmer Mickelson, Verle McDermott, Edgar Miller, Norbert Nielsen, Elmer C. Johnson and Roger Johnson. Mr. Larson was born May 28, 1906, at Mandan. He grew up and graduated from high school there. Following graduation, he went to work for the Standard Oil Company and was employed by them in Bismarck, Mandan and Minot. He came to Kenmare in May 1937, as the Northwest District Salesman for the Standard Oil Company, and resigned that position in 1943, then entered into partnership in the Larsen Feed and Seed Company in Kenmare. He operated this business until 1957, when they sold the business. On January 1, 1959, he became employed as the Kenmare City Auditor, a position he held until his retirement in 1977. He served as secretary of the Kenmare Fire Department for thirty years; had served as secretary of the Kenmare Association of Commerce and served on a number of committees in that organization; was instrumental in organizing the Cub Scout Program in Kenmare in 1948; served on the State Legislative Council for the North Dakota League of Cities for two years; and was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Helga Olson, whom he married January 1, 1930, at Mandan; a son, John Larson of Kenmare; and a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Adele) Broadston of Mesa, Az.; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There will be reviewal at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare, today, Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The family requests no flowers, please.
