Description	:	Earl Dobson 76, of Ellensburg, died Friday Oct. 5, 1990 at Providence Medical Center in Seattle. He was born in Innisfall, Alberta Canada on Feb 10, 1914, son of Joseph and Margaret (Shanks) Dobson. He moved with his family to Yakima as a child and recieved his education in Yakima. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and Mable Standley were married in Yakima in 1945. They made their home in Ellensburg and he was employed in construction in the eara. He was born in Innisfall, Alberta Canada on Feb 10, 1914, son of Joseph and Margaret (Shanks) Dobson. He moved with his family to Yakima as a child and recieved his education in Yakima. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and Mable Standley were married in Yakima in 1945. They made their home in Ellensburg and he was employed in construction in the eara. Survivors include his wife, Mabel of Ellensburg one son George Cranmer of Henderson Nevada 12 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild two brothers Bob Dobson and Harry Osborne, both of Auburn and two sisters Betty Turner of Auburn and Loretta O'Connor of Reno, Nevada. He was proceded in death by two sons, David Cranmer, in 1980 and Joseph Dobson in 1987. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cotton-Steward-Williams Chapel. Pastor Fred Lampley will officiate and burial will be at IOOF Cemetery. Viewing at Cotton-Steward-Williams Chapel Tuesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Reception will follow the service at the Eagles Lodge home.
