Born Aug. 8, 1921, in Manchester, he was the son of the late Harvey C. and Lilly Armacost Yingling. He was the husband of Wilma Yingling, and his first wife, Doris Kolb Yingling, who died Dec. 18, 1970. He worked for Pritchard and King, in the manufacturing of truck bodies. He was the husband of Wilma Yingling, and his first wife, Doris Kolb Yingling, who died Dec. 18, 1970. He worked for Pritchard and King, in the manufacturing of truck bodies. He was a World War II veteran of the Army-Air Force Division. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door, the Masonic Lodge, and the Hampstead American Legion. He enjoyed baseball with his sons and grandsons. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sons and daughters-in-law Eugene and Barbara Yingling, of Westminster, and Robert and Susan Yingling, of Hampstead; grandchildren Brian Yingling and fiancee Amanda Brady, Jeffrey Yingling and wife Jennifer, and Michael Yingling; stepchildren Barbara Manners and Robert "Bud" Cole, both of Florida, and Cindy Schmidt, of Aberdeen; a great-granddaughter, Ava Leigh Yingling; many step-grand- children and step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Zepp, of Manchester. He was predeceased by brothers Melvin and Robert Yingling; and a sister, Helen Neudecker. Interment in the New Lutheran Cemetery.
