He was a Draftsman before attending Union College in Lincoln where he received a degree in Computer Science. He married Beverly Schmidt on February 14, 1983 in Lincoln. He loved being with his daughter, grandkids and family. Within his hobbies, he enjoyed drawing, riding and refurbishing Harley Davidson Motor-cycles. He was an avid John Wayne fan and doing anything with computers. Earl John Dughman, Jr.,73, of Omaha formerly of Lincoln died at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Left to honor his memory are his daughter, Shelley Noecker of Omaha, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Sydney Noecker; two sisters, Penny Graves and Peggy Moore; several nieces and nephews, including Jill Day, Jeremy Dughman, Jamie Dughman and Kendra Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents,; his wife; one brother, Michael Dughman; grandmother, Valarie Dughman and one niece, Michelle Long. Memorial graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Sterling Cemetery of Sterling with Pastor Steve Chellew officiating.
