Description	:	GENEVA - - Earl Kennison, age 81, long-time resident of Geneva, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio. Born July 16, 1925 in Conasauga, Tennessee, he was a son of Lesle and Louise (Cheek) Kennison. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Kennison served from 1949 to 1951. A tow motor operator for the former Geneva Metal Wheel, he was a member of the Geneva VFW Post #6846, the Geneva FOE Aerie #2243, and attended New Life Assembly of Geneva. Born July 16, 1925 in Conasauga, Tennessee, he was a son of Lesle and Louise (Cheek) Kennison. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Kennison served from 1949 to 1951. A tow motor operator for the former Geneva Metal Wheel, he was a member of the Geneva VFW Post #6846, the Geneva FOE Aerie #2243, and attended New Life Assembly of Geneva. He enjoyed playing cards, tinkering with cars, growing a big garden, and truly loved his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Penny, whom he married September 3, 1950 in Westfield, New York; children, Reverend Rick (Debbie) Kennison of Berlin Heights, Vickie Kujanpaa of Geneva-on-the-Lake, and James Kennison of Madison; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicole, Cory and Kerri Kennison, Jesse (Becky) Bailey, Michelle (Jason) Ehrenberg, and Tristan Kujanpaa; four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon and Cara Ehrenberg and Jackson Kennison; sisters, Blanche Raab of Baltimore, Maryland and Ruth (William) Yancey of Bloomfield, Missouri; a brother, William (Charlsie) Kennison of Dayton; and his faithful dog, Milo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bruce; and a sister, Nell Lang. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at the C.A. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman Street, Geneva, Ohio, with Reverend Rick Kennison, of Adoration Assembly of God in Milan, Ohio, and Reverend Harry Pishcura, of New Life Assembly in Geneva, Ohio, officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva, with Geneva V.F.W. Post #6846 conducting Graveside Military Services. "JimmyJack" Kennison, age 56, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Saybrook Landing, after a year long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 9, 1957, in Geneva, to Earl and Penny (Penhollow) Kennison. Jimmy graduated from Geneva High School in 1975. He worked at GE in Ravenna until he retired in 2012. JimmyJack enjoyed all sports, was a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and a proud Member of the CMRO Region 13 (Concerned Motorcycle Riders of Ohio). Jimmy loved spending time with his three children, Nicole Kennison of Mentor and Cory and Kerri Kennison, both of Geneva and his dog, "Tripper." He is survived by his children; his mother, Penny of Geneva; brother, Pastor Rick (Debbie) Kennison of Norwalk; sister, Vickie Kennison-Kujanpaa of Geneva; nephews, Jeremy Kennison of Dallas, Texas, Jesse Kennison of Norwalk and Tristan Kujanpaa of Austinburg; niece, Mikki (Jason) Ehrenberg of Norwalk; great-nephews, Andrew and Brandon Ehrenberg and Jackson Kennison and great-nieces, Cara Ehrenberg and Sienna Kennison, all of Norwalk.
