Description	:	Earl W. Gibson, 55, of Brecksville, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Fort Myers, Fla. where he was vacationing. He was born in Quaker City, the son of Mrs. Elsie Gibson of Quaker City and the late Joe T. Gibson. He was employed as the manager of the Highbee's Department store in Parma and was the president of the Parma Businessmen's Association. Mr. Gibson was a director of the Parma Chamber of Commerce. Gibson, 55, of Brecksville, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Fort Myers, Fla. where he was vacationing. He was born in Quaker City, the son of Mrs. Elsie Gibson of Quaker City and the late Joe T. Gibson. He was employed as the manager of the Highbee's Department store in Parma and was the president of the Parma Businessmen's Association. Mr. Gibson was a director of the Parma Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. A member of the Brecksville United Methodist Church the belonged to the Men's Bible Class of the church. He served as a major in the Army during World War II. Surviving in addition to his mother are his widow, Evelyn E.; one son, Stephen Earl Gibson of Brecksville; one brother, H. Floyd Gibson of Westerville; and one sister, Miss Martha M. Gibson of Cincinnati. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Eberle Funeral Home, Quaker City. Rev. Allen Teter will officiate and burial will be in Friends Cemetery.
