Committal services followed in the Occupy No. 1 Cemetery in Pitkin. "TD", 76, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in a daughter's residence in Hineston. She was born October 16, 1933, in Pitkin to the union of Clarence Doyle and Evie Droddy Doyle. "TD" was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, the first lady to work at Vanply, first lady to make target practice signs for Fort Polk, and first lady to drive a gravel truck at the gravel pit in Woodworth. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend. Her husband, Hubert Maricle, her parents, twin brothers, and one daughter, Wanda Runge precedes her in death. She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, five daughters, Judy Wilson and Danny of Hineston, Donna Greenwell and Rick of Ten Mile, Janet Afeman and Jimmy of Hineston, Carla Basco of Pitkin and Inita Pelt and Jr. of Rosepine; three sisters, Lavenia Doyle of Pineville, Martha Paul (Elton) of Pitkin and Marjorie Willis of Pitkin; one brother, CJ Doyle (Marcie) of Pitkin; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Dewayne Locke, Scott Locke, Jody Afeman, Shane Strother, Jared Maricle and Massena Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Thompson, Ryan Wilson, Devin Locke, Travis Locke, Garrett Wilson, Haydn Runge and Bryce Spann. Special thanks to friends and nieces, Betty Bynog and Tina Williams. Service were under the guidance of White Oaks, Oakdale.
