Mrs. Poston was born on August 27, 1935 in Poston's Corner SC, daughter of Frances Edd and Mary Poston Poston ( stepmother Rhoda Richardson Poston). Mrs. Poston was born on August 27, 1935 in Poston's Corner SC, daughter of Frances Edd and Mary Poston Poston ( stepmother Rhoda Richardson Poston). She was a homemaker, worked with Electrolux, and was a faithful member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Samuel Eddie (Meg) Poston of Landrun and Teddy L. Poston of Johnsonville SC, daughter-in-law Karen Poston of Summerville; grandchildren, Stefani (Scott) Nichols (Kayla) Poston, T.J. (Brittany), Hannah and Joseph (Desantee), eleven great grandchildren, Leah, Thomas, Bryson, Hunter, Renee, Addison, Jerry, Mia, Stella, Briggs and Gunner; sisters Peggy Cox and Patsy (H.A,) Morris, brother Edd (Mary) Poston, and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Poston was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, will follow at Mill Branch Cemetery, Johnsonville. The family will receive friends from 3:00 — 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, at the church. Due to COVID-19, the family requests for everyone to wear a mask and please maintain the 6 foot social distancing. The family also requests for everyone to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging one another.
