Description	:	Edgar Allen Robb, son of Jesse and Martha Robb, was born in northern Missouri on Oct. 24, 1878. (NOTE: stone states 1877, but obit states 1878) He departed this life on June 2, 1955 in Oak, Nebraska at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 8 days. On May 16, 1905, he was united in marriage to Mary Ethelyn Rouse of Nelson, Nebr. To this union were born two sons, Myron who preceded his father to death on June 2, 1929, and Harold who lives near Oak. Edgar and Ethelyn spent about 40 years farming in Nuckolls county (sic).... Their farm life they gave up seven years ago and moved to Oak. However, Mr. Robb did not cease being very active until illlness forced him to do so about two years ago. He was always in a jovial mood and continued to smile even though the sky was dim. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Ethelyn, son Harold, and grandson Darrell Roob; also a sister Mrs. Thomas Davis of Manzanola, Colo., three brothers, Jesse Robb of Ft. Smith, Ark., and Olive and Wayne Robb of Arthur, Nebr., many other relatives and a host of friends. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Klawitter funeral home in Nelson, conducted by the Rev. E.L. Kraus, pastor of the church at Oak. Mrs. W.L. Portwood and Mrs. James Murphy sang with Mrs. H.H. Hite at the piano. Casket bearers were Merle Hammett, Thorvald Mogensen, Ernst Ferguson, Henry Jacobitz, and Roy and Jim Moore.
