Description	:	Obituary - "Edgar Amasa Bird was born May 6, 1834, in Broome county near Binghampton, New York. Died at Dillon, Kansas, Feb. 18, 1914, aged 79 years, 9 months and 12 days. When yet a young man he moved to Illinois, and the beginning of the Civil War enrolled on the 12th day of August, 1861, in Co, "C" 7th regiment of Illinois Cavalry Volunteers; serving as 1st Sergeant until discharged on the 4th day of Nov., 1865. He was married Dec. 26th, 1869, to Julia A. Noble, who died four years ago. He was a loving husband and father and... Read More	Obituary - "Edgar Amasa Bird was born May 6, 1834, in Broome county near Binghampton, New York. Died at Dillon, Kansas, Feb. 18, 1914, aged 79 years, 9 months and 12 days.
