Buescher was born May 27, 1922, in Webster County, Nebraska to Frank & Dorothy (Schroer). He departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home southeast of Lawrence, Nebraska at age 93. He married Eileen C. Hoelting on April 20, 1944 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, south of Lawrence. He was a 3rd & 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a past member of the Elks in Superior, past board member of the Nuckolls County Soil and water board and of the Little Blue NRD Board. He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and had been a Trustee. He farmed his entire life and enjoyed his farming. Edgar is survived by his Wife Eileen, Lawrence; Sons Walter & wife Deanna Buescher, Hastings, Michael & wife Frances Buescher and Gary & Sheryl Buescher, Lawrence, Leland and wife Jolene Buescher, Glenvil; Daughters Mary Ann Fulton, Lincoln, Jane & husband Michael Streff, Lawrence; Brother Gilbert, Lawrence; 21 Grandchildren; 55 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother Wilford and two infant brothers. Rosary was held Monday, August 3, 2015, and Mass of the Resurrection was Tuesday, August 4, 2015, both at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, south of Lawrence, with Father Thomas Bush officiating. Burial was in the St. Stephen parish cemetery. A memorial was established. Merten-Butler Mortuary, Blue Hill, Nebraska was in charge of arrangements.
