Description	:	The funeral for Edgar H. Kinell, 88, of Fremont will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont. He died Monday, March 14, 2005, at Nye Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fremont. He was born July 31, 1916, in Webb City, Mo., to Frederick and Jennie (White) Kinell. He grew up in Missouri before graduating from Savannah High School in Savannah, Mo., in 1934. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. He was born July 31, 1916, in Webb City, Mo., to Frederick and Jennie (White) Kinell. He grew up in Missouri before graduating from Savannah High School in Savannah, Mo., in 1934. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. He served during World War II and Korea, retiring from the Navy in 1954. After the Navy, he came to Fremont and worked for Swanson Soup and then for Campbell Foods for a brief time. He then worked for the post office in Fremont until retiring. He married Edna Meierhenry on Nov. 22, 1942, in Washington, D.C. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont, the National Association of Letter Carriers and the Fleet Reserve Association. Survivors include: his wife; a son, Del Kinell of Eagle; a stepbrother, R.J. (and wife, Marjorie) Carey of West Des Moines, Iowa; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. The Rev. Greg Hall will officiate Friday's service. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont with military honors by the Fremont Honor Guard. A memorial has been established to Calvary United Methodist Church
