Read More	(Obituary from Northwest Arkansas Times, Dec. 3, 1948) ILLNESS FATAL TO ED WILLIAMS AT HOSPITAL Game Warden Dies After Suffering Stroke At Home Edgar Hill Williams, 57, of West Fork, game warden of Washington County since 1942, died last night in City Hospital, where he had been a patient three days following a stroke suffered at his home. Mr. Williams was active in church and Masonic affairs. He was an elder of the Presbyterian Church of West Fork and worthy patron-elect of the Order of the Eastern Star of West Fork. He was a member of the West Fork Blue Lodge and of the Fayetteville Royal Arch Masons chapter. He was a native of Elkins, where he was born September 26, 1890, the son of Judge and Mrs. W.E. Williams. He was a veteran of naval service, having served in the regular Navy from 1908 to 1913. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Dameron Williams, his mother, Mrs. Suzanne Williams of Greenland, four daughters, Mrs. Lydia Jane Harbison of West Fork, Miss Nancy Lou Williams, Miss Suzanne Williams, and Miss Margaret Elizabeth Williams, all of the home; two sons, James Edgar Williams and William Robert Williams of the home, six brothers, Jess Williams of Lone Pine, Calif., Lee Williams of Baldwin, Greer Williams of Detroit, Mich., Robert Williams of Greenland, Joe Williams of Detroit and Guy Williams of Cheyenne, Wyo.; five sisters, Mrs. Carrie Lee of Fayetteville, Mrs. Jim Snodgrass of Stilwell, Okla., Mrs. Adolph Routherford of Mt. Clemens, Mich., Mrs. Tom Carter of WEst Fork and Mrs. Homer Brown of West Fork and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Watson Mortuary are incomplete.
