Description	:	Edgar James "Ed" Coon passed away on April 10, 2004 at home in the company of his family and loved ones. He was born to Willis & Martha (Lowe) Coon in Table Rock, NE on November 28, 1919. It was there he met his wife Mary Jane McNeely. They were married in Pawnee City, NE on May 20, 1941. They moved to Yakima, WA where they lived and worked on a farm and together had three children. Read More	Edgar James "Ed" Coon passed away on April 10, 2004 at home in the company of his family and loved ones. He was born to Willis & Martha (Lowe) Coon in Table Rock, NE on November 28, 1919. It was there he met his wife Mary Jane McNeely. They were married in Pawnee City, NE on May 20, 1941. They moved to Yakima, WA where they lived and worked on a farm and together had three children. Later they settled in Centralia, WA where he started working in construction with Lee Dulin Construction and Agnew Lumber Company from which he retired. He always liked to stay busy working on his cars and boats as well as those of relatives and friends. He enjoyed drives in the car with his wife and watching sports on TV with friends and family. Ed's favorite pastime however was fishing. He was a caring man always eager to help and could always make you smile. He is survived by his wife Mary Coon at home in Centralia; son and daughter-in-law Melvin & Billie Coon of Chehalis, WA; daughter Beverly Blankenship of Centralia; daughter-in-law Darlene Coon of Olympia, WA; grandchildren Tammy Erickson and her husband Clay of Olympia, Jennifer Coon of Centralia, Christy Carlson and her husband Mike of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Justin Feist of Centralia, Joey Coon of Chehalis; and great grand-sons Russell & Ryan Carl-son both of Mountlake Terrace. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son Darrell E. Coon formerly of Centralia; a brother Raymond Lowe formerly of Centralia; and a great granddaughter Megan Elizabeth Erickson. Visitation will be between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday, April 14and 15 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia. A Graveside Service for Ed Coon is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 16 at West Hills Cem-etery in Yakima with Reverend Don Hussong officiating. Services are under the direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
