Mrs. Hoover was the widow of Edward Hoover and a member of the Nettle Creek Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, Garland Werking of Richmond and Dwight Werking of Seattle, Wash., one sister, Mrs. Ethel Lannerc of New Castle; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl Hoel and Mrs. Howard Breneman, both of Hagerstown; two stepsons, Otto Hoover of Hagerstown and Verl Hoover of R. R. 1, New Castle; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren, and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Hoover will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nettle Creek Church of the Brethren with Rev. Victor Bendsen of Richmond and Rev. Ray 7. o o k of Hagerstown officiating. Burial will be in the Brick Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gray Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.
