Description	:	GARDINER -- Edith Kelly Webber, 96, formerly of Freedom and Unity, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at Robinson's Heath Care in Gardiner with her daughter, Lois Tracy, at her side. Edith was born in Freedom on Nov. 26, 1908, the daughter of Burnham and Adabelle (Clark) Kelly. She was a faithful member and honorary deaconess at the Quaker Hill Church in Unity. Read More	GARDINER -- Edith Kelly Webber, 96, formerly of Freedom and Unity, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at Robinson's Heath Care in Gardiner with her daughter, Lois Tracy, at her side. Edith was born in Freedom on Nov. 26, 1908, the daughter of Burnham and Adabelle (Clark) Kelly. She was a faithful member and honorary deaconess at the Quaker Hill Church in Unity. She taught Sunday school at the church for more than 30 years with dedication and love for all. Her church played an enormous part in her life. Her precious Bible was never far from her side. Edith was a caregiver for most of her life for many members of her family, as well as anyone in need of her help. Her strength was immeasurable. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and watching birds, animals and all of God's creations. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Webber, and a daughter, Elizabeth Helen Chase. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Lois Tracy of Gardiner; grandchildren Cheryl Small of Gardiner, Ronald Bernard and his wife, Cathy, of Portland, Raymond Bernard and his wife, Julie, of Connecticut, Donna Wade and her husband, William, of Unity, and Diane Roberts and her husband, Randall, of Unity; great-grandchildren Dylan and Rachael Small, Sarah Bernard, Benjamin and Danielle Bernard, Scott Herring, Christopher Herring, Jenny Mayhew, Joshua Roberts, Jessica Roberts and Jaime D'Errico; great-great-grandchildren Chase Kane, Isabella Herring, Emma Herring, Connor Mayhew, Zoe Mayhew, Kasey Roberts, Chase Roberts, and Isabella, Elizabeth and Aaron Meierdirk. In her life, the greatest joy and love that she cherished came from her extensive family unit. She will be terribly missed by all. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 1 p.m. Jan. 29 at Quaker Hill Church in Unity, where a celebration of her life will be officiated by the retired Rev. Fred Williams, a longtime friend. A luncheon will be served after the service. (Published in the Waterville Morning Sentinel)
