She was born Nov. 25, 1908, in Monon to John William and Eura Myrtle (Etter) Ireland. She married Dwight Paul Fritchey in Peru on Dec. 31, 1933. He died March 28, 1992. During the late 1920s to 1943, she was co-owner, along with her husband Dwight, of Fritchey and Anderson Food Market and Fritchey Nash Dealership, both of Kokomo. She also owned, with her husband, the Fritchey Pontiac-Cadillac dealership in Wabash until their retirement in 1961.... She was born Nov. 25, 1908, in Monon to John William and Eura Myrtle (Etter) Ireland. She married Dwight Paul Fritchey in Peru on Dec. 31, 1933. He died March 28, 1992. During the late 1920s to 1943, she was co-owner, along with her husband Dwight, of Fritchey and Anderson Food Market and Fritchey Nash Dealership, both of Kokomo. She also owned, with her husband, the Fritchey Pontiac-Cadillac dealership in Wabash until their retirement in 1961. A member of Wabash Christian Church, she also belonged to Kokomo Chapter 89 of Order of the Eastern Star and was a life member of Kokomo Elks Lodge 190. Edith was also a former member of the Wabash Garden Club, and Womens Clubhouse Association. She has lived in Wabash since 1957 coming from Kokomo. She is survived by four sisters, Lelia Martin, North Manchester, Anna Mae (Robert) Keim of Denver, Ind., Wilma Jean Troxell, and Bonita Harris, both of Peru; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with the Rev. Cecil Cook officiating. Entombment will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The preferred memorials are Wabash County Hospital Foundation, Wabash Christian Church, or Whites Residential and Family Services Inc.
