Description	:	After 89 years, on March 29, 2016, our beloved mother, Edith Stingley, was called to reside in heaven. Edith was born in Ellensburg, WA, to Bird and Anita Huss on September 15, 1926. She married Preston Stingley when she was 16 and they had two children. She lived the majority of her life in Ellensburg but also resided in California, Idaho and Germany for short periods of time but then returned to Washington. Read More	After 89 years, on March 29, 2016, our beloved mother, Edith Stingley, was called to reside in heaven. Edith was born in Ellensburg, WA, to Bird and Anita Huss on September 15, 1926. She married Preston Stingley when she was 16 and they had two children. She lived the majority of her life in Ellensburg but also resided in California, Idaho and Germany for short periods of time but then returned to Washington. After retiring from the State of Washington providing home health care she moved to Camas, Washington, to be closer to her children and resided there until her death. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and totally devoted to her family. She was a very kind and caring person and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite hobby, which she thoroughly enjoyed, was collecting dolls. We often wondered where she would find room for yet another doll but she always seemed to find room for one more. Edith is survived by her son Keith and daughter-in-law, Wanda Stingley of Washougal, WA, and her daughter Mary and son-in-law Curt Heldreth of Fayetteville, NC. She has four grand children and two step grand children: Sherrie Oliver, Melody Farnham and son-in-law Adam Farnham; Matthew Evans, Kevin Cox, Tracy Freelon and Randy Thurman. She also has five great grand children: Reese, Callen, Courtney, Preston, Daniel and Kegan. Edith is one of fourteen children and is survived by her sister Louise Holland, McMinnville, OR, and her bothers: Allen Huss, Fallon, NV, Earl and Gary Huss of Ellensburg, WA, and Wayne Huss of Richland, WA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Preston Stingley and her sisters: Mae Sisk, Mildred Sisk, June Ambler and brothers: Melvin, Wilfred, Dano, Terry and Lloyd. Edith will be laid to rest in the Huss Family burial plot in Ellensburg, Washington. Published in The Daily Record, Ellensburg, WA April 15, 2016.
