Description	:	Edith was born August 29, 1917 in Saline County rural Crete, NE the daughter of Marvin and Lydia (Schweitzer) Stutzman. She was united in marriage to Orie Joseph Boese on December 12, 1940 in Wayland, IA. Orie and Edith farmed in the Wayland area and moved to Wayland in 1978. Edith was self employed as a reflexologist for 42 years. She was a faithful member of the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and attended East Union Mennonite Church since moving to Kalona in 2005. Survivors include son Eugene Boese of Wayland, daughter Jane Miller and husband Edward of Kalona; sister Marlene Slaubaugh of Iowa City; sister-in-law Mabel Stutzman of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren Jill Hartsock and husband Bill of Kalona and Allison Troyer and husband Kyle of Kalona; three great-grandchildren Braden and Elise Hartsock and Annie Troyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orie on October 2, 1980, two brothers, Arnold and Neil Stutzman, three sisters, Margaret Stutzman, Verba Stutzman, and Delma Richeson.
