Description	:	Edmond Lewis Byram, son of, William and Mercy (Hand) Byram. He married Lucy Laura Cook March 19, 1868 in Wapello County, Iowa, daughter of Seth Cook and Nancy Miles. Edmond Lewis Byram enlisted on July 6, 1863 and mustered out on August 13, 1865 at Macon, Georgia. During the Civil War Edmond Lewis Byram participated in several battles, the most being; The Atlanta Campaign Nashville, Franklin and the great Wilson raid through Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. These records were copied by Ed Sisk. Note: Notice: that Edmond's last name is spelled Byram but his headstone states it as Byram.
