Description	:	Edna Aldinger Iffland, 90, an avid baker and expert quilter, died Sept. 26, 2005, at Primrose Personal Care Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born March 17, 1915, in Bowdle, S.D., the eldest daughter of Rudolph and Ida Aldinger. When she was 13, her mother died, and she helped raise 12 brothers and sisters. Survivors include a brother, Marvin Aldinger of Portland, Ore.; sisters, Helen Cline of Portland, Alma Robertson of Central, S.C., and Emma Miedling of Spokane, Wash.; a half-brother, Delbert Aldinger of Aberdeen, S.D.; four children, Alvina Newell of Vancouver, Wash., Kenneth Iffland of Shepherd, Dottie Thomas of Casper, Wyo., and Deloris Graves of Billings; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
