Description	:	Edna Schneider Gibbon resident, 94 MINDEN - Edna A. Schneider, 94, of Gibbon died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Kearney County Long-term Care Center in Minden. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fredricksburg Lutheran Church south of Minden with the Rev. Roy Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. There will be no visitation. Godberson Mortuary in Gibbon is in charge of arrangements. She was born Sept. 26, 1909, south of Minden to Edward and Anna (Jensen) Warp. In 1931, she married Bruce Kocher in Chicago. He preceded her in death. In 1937, she married Charles Schneider in Franklin. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Vernon of Gibbon; daughters, Maxine Noltie of Minden and Jeanette Jones of Gibbon; brother, Richard Warp of Tampa, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include her daughter-in-law, Inez of Gibbon. She grew up and received her education in the Minden area and attended Minden High School. She moved to Chicago with her parents as a teenager and became a beautician. She returned to Nebraska in 1935. She and her second husband lived in Minden and rural Gibbon. She was a beautician in Minden and Axtell until she retired in 1975. She moved to the Long-term Care Center in Minden about a year ago. She had attended the Fredricksburg Lutheran Church as a youth and attended the Lowell Lutheran Church later in her life. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four great-grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to the Lowell Lutheran Church.
