Edna B Buckwalter was the daughter of William "Billy" and Mary Messer Buckwalter on a farm in Poweshiek County near Victor, Iowa. She attended country school then graduated in 1941 from Victor High School. She worked from May 1941 to August 1943 as an operator at the telephone company in Victor. Edna returned home to Victor and worked at Amana Refrigeration until she retired in 1986. Edna enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. She was a "can do" person and was always helpful to others. She was a long time member of the Victor United Methodist Church and always gave to the Children's Christian Fund.
