Description	:	Edna B. (Bomar) Nelson Loewe, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Heritage of Bel Air, Norfolk, Nebraska. Edna was born to Archibald and Ida Bomar on March 16, 1924 in Pilger, Nebraska. Edna married Gus Nelson on August 30, 1940 in Stanton, Nebraska. They farmed in the Randolph and Winside, Nebraska areas. Later they owned the Winside Café, Winside, Nebraska before moving to Norfolk, Nebraska. They had 4 children. They divorced in 1965. (Bomar) Nelson Loewe, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Heritage of Bel Air, Norfolk, Nebraska. Edna was born to Archibald and Ida Bomar on March 16, 1924 in Pilger, Nebraska. Edna married Gus Nelson on August 30, 1940 in Stanton, Nebraska. They farmed in the Randolph and Winside, Nebraska areas. Edna moved to Beemer, Nebraska to work at the Indian Trails Country Club. There she met and later married Gilbert Loewe on June 14, 1970. They farmed south of Beemer, Nebraska and enjoyed bowling, dancing, golfing, playing cards, traveling, and were members of the American Legion until his death of a heart attack on October 2, 1988. She moved into Beemer, Nebraska where her flower gardens were her pride and joy. She later moved to Norfolk, Nebraska where she lived until her death. Survivors are: daughters, Carolyn (Susie) Hoffman of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Maureen (Cis) Lapour of Las Vegas, Nevada; sons, Richard Nelson of Norfolk, Nebraska and Robert (Bob) and wife Brenda Nelson of Norfolk, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and a host of family and friends. Edna was preceded in death by: parents; 3 sisters and their husbands; husband, Gilbert Loewe in 1988; son-in-law, Elno Hoffman and grandson, Todd Kramer. Burial was in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Beemer, Nebraska.
