Dec. 7, 1886, and died at the home of her parents, three miles north of Graham, Mo., Nov. 22, 1915, at the age of 28 years, 11 months and 15 days. Neuffer was born in Nodaway, Mo. Dec. 7, 1886, and died at the home of her parents, three miles north of Graham, Mo., Nov. 22, 1915, at the age of 28 years, 11 months and 15 days. Her parents, six sisters and two brothers are left to sorrow and grief. Our sister was ill only a few days but pneumonia finally won his victim. In the death of Miss Neuffer we fully and keenly realize our loss. She was a true friend and her devotion to those she loved would make a bright chapter in any life. Nothing but the comforting words of the Savior can reconcile us to her absence. A chair at the table is vacant, a place in the Bible school is left to be filled, for since childhood she has been a faithful member of the Baptist church, but we remember the Bible says, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, for their works do follow them." She lived a consecrated Christian life and died a happy and triumphant death. It is sad indeed to see one taken in youth so unexpectedly, yet for her, there was no standing on the border land, gazing into the unknown, for death came as the sunset dies along the hills when the day is over. A life that imparts such lessons is well worth living. Funeral services were held at Baptist church Graham, Mo., Wednesday the 24th at 1 p.m. in charge of Rev. S. D. Harlan, and the body was buried in the Groves cemetery. - Rev. S. D. Harlan"
