A rabid Republican, a baseball fan, first class at crossword puzzles, a fanatical bridge opponent, and a diehard supporter of her town - but so caring and kind; generous to a fault! There is no way of knowing, how many nieces, nephews, or cousins, that were able to attend college because of "loans" from Edna. She was "sharp as a whip", a good sense of humor, and she was very Feisty! Edna served as the Ragan Postmistress from 1914 to 1947. She was mostly frugal, but allowed herself the luxury of a nice automobile at all times. Her most prized possession, the car, was loaned to relatives for vacation trips, to students when necessary to travel to out of town sporting events - any good cause. A truly lovely person.
