Mrs. Bash had been a patient at Laurens hospital before she was brought to the hospital here. She had been in poor health since last spring. She and her husband, the late C. W. Bash, settled on a farm in Sherman township, Pocahontas county, about 55 years ago. They moved to Pocahontas more than 40 years ago. Mr. Bash, prominent real estate dealer and bank president here, preceded her in death. Mrs. Bash, always interested in activites of the community, had served for a number of years as Pocahontas county Red Cross secretary. She also helped establish the first tuberculosis clinic in the county. She is survived by one son, C. R. Bash of Pocahontas; one daughter, Mrs. Sam Stewart of Gulfport, Miss.; two grandchildren, Jim and Carol Stewart; and two brothers, Louis Maulsby of South Haven, Mich., and George Maulsby of Washington state. Funeral rites will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bash residence. The body will lie in state at the Rudolph and McIntire funeral home from 10 o'clock Sunday morning until 10 a.m. Monday, when it will be taken to the Bash home. Burial will be in Summit Hill cemetery here.
