Description	:	Edna E. DeRoin SSC resident Edna E. DeRoin, 84, of South Sioux City was stricken at her home Sunday, July 23, 2006 and passed away shortly after arrival at a Sioux City Hospital. Services were Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Leonard, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Emerson. She was a lifelong resident of Dakota County. She married Lewis H. (Buck) DeRoin Sept. 5, 1937, in South Sioux City. He died Oct. 30, 2003, in South Sioux City. She is survived by two sons and their wives: Larry L. and Maurine "Twink" DeRoin of Omaha, Terry M. and Jean of St. Augustine, Fla., four grandchildren: Scott and Teena DeRoin, Lisa and Dave Ashby, Mark and Dana De Roin, Laura DeRoin and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott, Mark, Blake and Terry DeRoin, Bruce Tuttle and Dave Ashby.
