Edna, the first of seven children of Peter E. & Fannie Roth Ensminger was born near Trenton, Henry County, IA on Oct 23, 1895. On Dec 29, 1915 Edna Ensminger married Bruce Edward Ericson at Rome Iowa. Bruce was the son of Henry & Lillian Lloyd Ericson. Edna and Bruce had two children, Ruth Marie in 1917 and Goldie Louise in 1919. Note: After the death of their mother, Ruth was raised by her maternal grandparents, Peter & Fannie Ensminger and Goldie Ericson was raised by her paternal grandparents Henry & Lillie Ericson.
