Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be at Miller Funeral Home (507 S. Later she moved with her family to Centerville, SD where she attended grade school. As a teenager, she lived in Sioux Falls, SD and attended Washington High School. On April 16, 1955 she married Clarence Funke. They settled on a farm outside of Brandon, SD. Over the next 30 years they farmed and raised their 4 children. Edna enjoyed gardening, cooking, collecting antiques, photography, and needle work. During retirement, Edna loved to travel around the country with her husband, visiting her children and grandchildren, and seeing new places. Edna is survived by her three daughters: Teri Peterson (Platteville, CO), Recy Pilloud (Parker, CO), and Gail Versaevel (Cottonwood, MN); eight grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one brother, Wilbert Clow (Brandon, SD) and one sister, Alla Barnes (Webb City, MO). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband (Clarence); son (Roger); brother (Robert) and sister (Anna).
