On December 11, 1928, she was united in marriage to Glenn Williams at Wray, Colorado, and from this union three children were born: Leo of Benkelman, Nebraska, Lela of Ogallala, Nebraska, and Robert of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Edna spent her entire life in the Benkelman area except for a few years. For about eight years she operated "Edna's Cafe" in Benkelman. Her family was her pride and joy, and the last few years she and Glenn enjoyed their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their favorite pastime was sitting on their porch in the evenings and enjoying folks driving by and waving or stopping for a visit. Those preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Edward (Buster) Louch. Edna will be missed and remembered by her husband, Glenn: her sons and wives, Leo and Donna and Robert and Iris; daughter, Lela Donaldson; grandchildren: Charlene and Don Schragg, Vicky and Charlie Powell, Robert Williams Jr., Jennifer and Rich Wilson, Tony and Tammy Williams, Tom Williams, Jim and Terry Donaldson; nine great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Bernard and Helen Bernard of Imperial, Nebraska, and Lela Zehring of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Gladys Louch of Benkelman; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, and a host of friends. Services were held Saturday, October 17, 1987, at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Benkelman with the Rev. James L. Brackett officiating. Organist was Mary Baney. The Singing Friends sang the selections "The Old Rugged Cross," "I Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone" and "The Family Of God." Bearers were Dale Lutz, Ron Janicke, Lyle Hansen, Lee Gallatin, Danny Haines, Rod Kihlthau, Archie Jones and Mason Jones. Interment was in the Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman. The funeral was conducted by Jones Funeral Home.
