Moore, 76, of Cedar Falls, Iowa (formerly of Shelby, Iowa) passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 1981 following a brief illness at the Sartori Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Burial was in the Shelby Cemetery at Shelby. Edna, the daughter of George and Clara Belle Dawdy Smith was born at Persia, Iowa on Dec. 12, 1904. On Feb. 20, 1924 she was united in marriage to Laurence Moore at Persia. She was a member of the Shelby Methodist Church at Shelby. Following the death of her husband in 1966 she moved to Cedar Falls where she has made her home since then. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Laurence who passed away on June 29, 1966; one sister, Bessie; and two brothers, Frankie and Fred. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Dixie) Messerschmidt of Cedar Falls and Mrs. James (Diane) Page of Omaha; four grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth C.
