Mrs. Martin was born in the Aynor community a daughter of the late Frank and Madge Pittman Johnson. She was predeceased by five brothers, Talbert Johnson, Pickens Johnson, Frank Johnson, Hughie Johnson, Clement Johnson and two sisters, Ethel Johnson Floyd and Kathleen Johnson Freeze. Mrs. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful wife that worked beside her late husband of 61 years Lonnie H. Martin. Mrs. Martin was born in the Aynor community a daughter of the late Frank and Madge Pittman Johnson. She was predeceased by five brothers, Talbert Johnson, Pickens Johnson, Frank Johnson, Hughie Johnson, Clement Johnson and two sisters, Ethel Johnson Floyd and Kathleen Johnson Freeze. Mrs. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful wife that worked beside her late husband of 61 years Lonnie H. Martin. She was a loyal member of the Aynor United Methodist Church where for many years she was active in Sunday school, Bible School, Ladies Auxiliary Circle and communion preparation. She was a person of great faith and through the goodness of her life touched and uplifted many. Surviving Mrs. Martin is her son, Lonnie Morgan Martin and his wife Sonya of Conway, three grandchildren, Mary Ashley Martin of Myrtle Beach, Morgan O'Bryan Martin of Columbia, Hayley Elizabeth Martin of Conway, and many loving nieces and nephews.
