Description	:	Edna Lee (Parris) Burns, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, February 17, 2005, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 31, 1928, in Chesnee, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Eliphus Parris and Bertha (Robinson) Parris. She was retired from Prym-Dritz Corporation, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and the Young at Heart, and was a 13 year volunteer with Mobile Meals Service. Burns and his wife Tracey of Spartanburg; two sisters, Carolyn Stephens of Spartanburg, and Evelyn Hall of Drayton; six grandchildren, Allison Burns Williamson, Justin Burns, Megan Burns Camp, Ashley Burns, Caitlin Burns, and Hayley Burns; and three great-grandchildren, Mallory Williamson, Micah Williamson, and Jonah Williamson. Visitation was 2:00-2:45 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2005, in the Parlor of the First Baptist Church. Funeral services followed at 3:00 in the Chapel of the Church, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
