Description	:	Former Culver resident Edna M. Johnson died May 9, 2005, at the home of her son in Bridgeport, Wash., at the age of 90. Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Chinook, Mont., to Henry and Delilah (Clark) Robinson. She grew up in Montana and Yakima, Wash. Johnson died May 9, 2005, at the home of her son in Bridgeport, Wash., at the age of 90. Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Chinook, Mont., to Henry and Delilah (Clark) Robinson. She grew up in Montana and Yakima, Wash. In Culver, she and her family lived and worked on the old Grant homestead. In later years, she became a professional seamstress. A lady of adventure, she loved to travel and went camping and hunting in the Grizzly Mountains. She traveled the western states in a camper and took airplane trips with her sister Grace and her nieces. Hosting family reunions was a favorite activity of hers. In her 70s and 80s she enjoyed billiards and bowling and won championship trophies in both. Her flower gardens were a special joy. Her friends remember her for her fun-loving attitude, her generosity and competitive spirit. Survivors include her daughters, Rosetta Keech McKibbins and husband Richard of Tacoma, Wash., Irma Keech Myers and husband Spike of Randall, Wash.; son, Ray Grant and wife Katy of Bridgeport, Wash.; brother, John L. Thatcher and his wife Loveada of Spanaway, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Milton; two sisters, Grace and Florence; three husbands, Lloyd Keech, Everett Grant and Melvin Johnson. Her fiance/companion George Anderson passed away in 1998. Funeral services were held May 12, at Firlane Memorial Park in Spanaway, Wash., with her family and many friends in attendance. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be sent to the family in care of Ray Grant, P.O. Box 636, Bridgeport, WA 98813.
