Pastor C. Willard Carlson was in charge of the services, under the direction of the Bressler Funeral Service. Mrs. C. W. Carlson furnished the organ music. Mrs. Paul Erickson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Fritchof Nyberg, was born at Yankton, S.Dak., on February 20, 1900. She passed away at Wakefield, after a lingering illness, on April 2, 1955, at an age of 55 years, one month and 12 days. Mrs. Erickson moved with her parents to Wakefield while she was in infancy and she spent the rest of her life in this community. She was baptized in Yankton and confirmed at Salem Lutheran church in Wakefield. She was a member of Salem church. Mrs. Erickson attended school in Wakefield and took nurses training at the Methodist hospital in Sioux City. She was married to Paul Erickson on August 5, 1925. Mrs. Erickson is survived by her husband, Paul, and three sons: Eugene of Omaha, Donald of Broken Bow, and Robert of Sioux City; one grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Stina Johnson, and a large number of friends. Interment was in the Wakefield cemetery. Wakefield Republican, April 7, 1955.
