Description	:	Edna M Evans Ashtabula Twp. - Edna Maxine Evans, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 20, 1927 in Rome, Ohio the daughter of Archie A.and Genevra B. (Schoville) Giddings, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Edna retired from Rockwell Plastics, where she was a press operator. She was a member of the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene. Edna enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking pies, as well as knitting, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Evans is survived by her children, David Evans of Geneva, Roger (Vickie) Evans and Deanna Ekholm both of Ashtabula, Judy (Robert) Nuegebauer and Georgiana (Mel) Biedenkapp both of Pasadena, MD.; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren ; daughter-in-law, Carol Simko; brother, Harland (Gwen) Giddings of Mentor; and a sister, Ruth Wood of Panama City, FL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Shirley Evans; son, Francis Eugene Evans; brothers, Francis, Harold and Claude Giddings; and a sister, Evelyn Vanorman. Private graveside services were held at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Memorials in memory of Edna may be given to the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 S.
