She was born May 27, 1914 at Everist, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Alfred and Mary Ann McMorran Fry. On December 10, 1930, she was united in marriage to Jonas Gott at Pershing, Iowa, and he died February 7, 1939. Later, on October 19, 1941, Edna was married to Ernest Moses at Lebanon, Missouri, and he died February 13, 1988. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Community of Christ Church in Oskaloosa. She was born May 27, 1914 at Everist, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Alfred and Mary Ann McMorran Fry. On December 10, 1930, she was united in marriage to Jonas Gott at Pershing, Iowa, and he died February 7, 1939. Later, on October 19, 1941, Edna was married to Ernest Moses at Lebanon, Missouri, and he died February 13, 1988. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Community of Christ Church in Oskaloosa. Edna is survived by her children: Richard (& Ann) Gott of Carrollton, Texas, Marjorie (& Dale) Tucker of University Park, Terry (& Mary) Gott of Beacon, Raymond (& Marilyn) Gott of Edmonds, Washington, Linda (& Frosty) Woods of Pulaski, Evelyn Kay Moses of Keystone, and Debbie (& Mark) DeVries of Pella; a daughter in law: Joyce Moses of University Park; a son in law: Dennis Clark of Beacon; 26 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons: Ernest John Moses and Phillip Eugene Gott; a daughter: Martha Moses Clark; 2 brothers in infancy and another brother: William Fry; and 4 sisters: Mary Harrington, Blanche Ryerson, Ethel Bridges, and Myrtle Moses. Funeral services for Edna Moses will be held Thursday, February 6, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel, Oskaloosa, with Elder Wade Schelker of the Community of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery at Pershing, Iowa. Casket bearers will be Steve Tucker, Gene Gott, Terry James Gott, John Moses, Duane Olivier, Craig Clark, Jimmy Asher, and Joe Moses. Visitation will begin Tuesday after 4 p.m., and the family will be at the funeral chapel on WEDNESDAY from 6:30 – 8 pm to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to either the Community of Christ Church in Oskaloosa or to establish an aviary at Georgian Court of Oskaloosa. Bates Funeral Home
