Mrs. Fred Moody, 325 1/2 South Third Avenue died at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs W. H. Petrie 806 South 5th Ave. with whom she had been staying for the past six weeks. Mrs Moody had been ill for over a year and bedfast the past month. Death due to a complication of diseasea. She was married to Mr. Moody Oct. 22, 1919, and they lived here and then at Fredericksburg for 18 years, returning here three years ago. Besides Mr. Moody she is survived by two sons, and five daughters, Melivn, in the Army in South Carolina; Francis, in the Army in South Pacific; Mrs. Howard Slick, Fredricksburg; Mrs. marvel Clemons , Clita, Melba Lee and Barbara Moody, all at home. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; Orville Pierson Oquawka Ill., Mrs. Jon Himes, Clam Falls, Wis.; Mrs. Charles Gifford, Cedar Rapids; Mrs Walter Pierson Portland Ore.; Mrs Petrie, Mrs Garr Fergson and Mrs Bruce Pierson all of this city. Two grandsons survive.
