Visitation will be Sunday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., May 5, at the Warner Funeral Home Chapel in Spencer. Warner Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of the arrangements. Edna Ruth Henderson was born December 12, 1939, on the family farm in Palo Alto County, near Emmetsburg, the daughter of Harry and Edna (Miller) Henderson. She graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1957. She married Russell Leslie Jensen on December 31, 1965, in Fairmont, Minnesota. Together they made their home in Spencer. She worked at Wonder Bread for several years and later worked at J.C. Penney's for many years, until she retired in May of 2002. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping in their motorhome, shopping and going to the casino. Surviving are her husband, Russell of Spencer; one daughter, Linda (Brian) Fairchild of Everly; two granddaughters, Robin Fairchild of Minneapolis, MN, and Kelli (Jake) Ireland of Albert Lea, MN; one sister, Bonnie Hall of Clinton; two brothers, Robert (Carolyn) Henderson of Emmetsburg and Dr. John Henderson of Angola, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Darlene Fitzner. Warner Funeral Home, Spencer (A Harmsen family member)
