Description	:	Edward Anderson was the son of Elzey and Nancy Hitt Anderson. Edward married Sarah Ann Leedham, December 11, 1859 in Henry County, Iowa. Edward and Sarah Ann were the parents of four children: Martha Maria, Cynthia Ann, Eli Alexander and Asa Anderson. Sarah Ann died at the early age of 32 and Edward then married Marietta Raines-Leedham. Marietta was the widow of Edmund M.C. Leedham. Burlington Hawkeye, Wednesday morning, May 5, 1910, page 3 Edward Anderson Edward Anderson, a well known farmer, died very suddenly Tuesday morning about five o’clock of heart failure about five miles west of New London. He arose in the morning and upon not feeling very good he went back to bed and died before a physician could be obtained. He had been in apparent good health and was to town last Friday. He leaves a wife, two sons, and two daughters. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock from the Latter Day Saints church.
