Oroville, June 13 – Edward Baker Shreve, 82, for nearly 25 years city superintendent of streets in Oroville, died at his home, 920 Bird street, at 1 a.m. yesterday after an illness of several years. Shreve, who watched Oroville grow from a town of graveled roads and horse-drawn vehicles to a modern city with paved streets, retired August 1, 1939, as city superintendent of streets.
