The body is at teh Dennis Brannan home in Coon Rapids, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Brannan made their home with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Brahm, in Carroll the last two years. A lifelong resident of Iowa, Mr. Brannan was born Sept. 18, 1871, in Clinton County, He was a son of Dennis and Bridget Byrne Brannan. He had lived in the Coon Rapids vicinity about 80 years, having engaged in farming until his retirement. Mr. Brannan was married to Theresa Ann McManus Nov. 15, 1899, at Adair, Iowa. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary here last November. Surviving with Mrs. Brannan are six children, one brother, John Brannan, Mission, Tex., and grandchildren. Sons and daughters are: Louis Brannan, Council Bluffs; Joe Brannan, Audubon; Mrs. Brahm (Catherine), Carroll; Dennis Brannan, Coon Rapids; Leonard Brannan, Omaha; and Mrs. Wayne (Loretta) Mountain, Creston. Mr. Brannan was preceded in death by one son, John, one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Nagl, three sisters, and one brother. He was a member of Annunciation Church, Coon Rapids.
