He was the son of the late Andrew Doucette and the late Emma Saulnier. He was predeceased by his wife, Lydia Surette, by one daughter, Thelma Creaser, and by four brothers, Robert, Clayton, Basil and Zébédée. The body was in Huskilson's Funeral Home in Yarmouth.
